A fair-use agreement.
By downloading, accessing or using LifeDates, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Nothing here removes rights that consumer law says cannot be excluded.
1. Who provides LifeDates
LifeDates is provided by Fear Army LTD, trading as Insane Rabbit Labs ("we", "us" or "our"). Fear Army LTD is registered in England and Wales under company number 13087049. Its registered office is 11 Charlotte Place, London, United Kingdom, W1T 1SJ.

2. The Service
These terms apply to the LifeDates iOS app, widgets, reminders, calculators, share cards, website, Premium features and related support (the "Service"). LifeDates is a personal utility for exact ages, birthdays, pet ages, important dates, countdowns and life milestones.
The feature descriptions, current free limits and prices shown in the app or App Store form part of the information available to you before purchase. Features, compatibility and availability may change as the app develops.
3. Eligibility and authority
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms. If you are under the age at which you can form a binding contract where you live, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms and supervise your use.
If you add information about another person or pet, you confirm that you have a lawful reason and any permission needed to store, use or share it. LifeDates is intended for personal use, not covert monitoring, profiling or publishing private information.
4. Your profiles, dates and content
You retain responsibility for the information, photos, notes and dates you add and for any cards or events you export or share. You are responsible for accuracy, lawful use, device security and maintaining any backup you need.
LifeDates stores app content locally as described in our Privacy Policy. We generally cannot access or recover local data if you delete the app, lose the device or a backup fails.
You must not add or share content that is unlawful, infringes rights, contains malicious material or exposes another person's private information without any permission required by law.
5. Calculations, reminders and pet-year estimates
Age, days-lived, countdown, zodiac, birthday-fact and milestone results are informational. Results depend on the date, time zone, calendar settings and information entered. Check important dates independently before relying on them.
Notifications and widgets depend on iOS permissions, device settings, time zone, battery state and Apple services. Do not use LifeDates as the only reminder for medication, medical appointments, legal deadlines, safety-critical events or anything where a missed alert could cause harm.
6. Free and Premium features
LifeDates may provide free features subject to profile or feature limits. LifeDates Premium may unlock unlimited profiles, advanced milestones and reminders, widgets, additional themes, premium share-card styles and other features described in the app.
We may improve, replace or discontinue features and may change free limits, plan names and future pricing. Changes will not remove mandatory consumer rights, and paid access already purchased will be treated in accordance with the applicable offer and App Store rules.
7. Purchases, subscriptions, cancellations and refunds
Purchases are made through Apple's App Store. Prices, billing periods and any trial are displayed before you confirm. An auto-renewable subscription renews at the price and interval shown unless you cancel through your Apple account at least as required by Apple's applicable rules before renewal.
Apple manages payment, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund processing. You can view or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings and restore eligible purchases from inside LifeDates. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription.
Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law. If digital content is faulty or misdescribed, you may also have statutory remedies. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
8. Apple App Store terms
If you obtained LifeDates through the App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and applicable Usage Rules. Unless a custom end-user licence is provided through Apple, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the licence delivered through the App Store.
To the extent these terms operate as an end-user licence: the agreement is between you and Fear Army LTD, not Apple; we, not Apple, are responsible for LifeDates and its content, maintenance, support and any product claims; the licence is non-transferable and limited to Apple-branded products you own or control as permitted by Apple's Usage Rules, including permitted Family Sharing; and Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
If LifeDates fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, as provided by its rules. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. We are responsible for addressing valid claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance and intellectual-property claims.
You confirm that you are not located in a country or region subject to a US Government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and are not listed on a US Government prohibited or restricted-party list. You must comply with applicable third-party terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it against you.
9. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service unlawfully or infringe another person's rights;
- harass, shame, stalk, discriminate against or target another person;
- publish private information without lawful authority;
- bypass Premium controls, usage limits, security systems or App Store rules;
- copy, resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service except where law permits;
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify the Service except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
- interfere with the Service, website, support systems or availability;
- use bots, scraping or bulk extraction without written permission; or
- introduce malicious code or use the Service to facilitate harm.
10. Licence to use LifeDates
Subject to these terms and the App Store Usage Rules, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use LifeDates on supported devices for lawful personal use. Family Sharing may apply where Apple permits it.
The licence ends if you materially breach these terms or when you permanently stop using LifeDates, but provisions intended to survive—such as intellectual property, liability and governing law—continue.
11. Intellectual property
LifeDates and its software, source code, interface, design, branding, text, graphics, themes, card styles, documentation and related technology are owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual-property law. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
You retain rights in content you add. You give us no licence to locally stored profile content merely by using the app. When you voluntarily send feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment to improve and promote the Service, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
12. Third-party platforms and links
LifeDates depends on iOS and may interact with Apple services such as the App Store, StoreKit, Contacts, Calendar, notifications, widgets, sharing, device backup and diagnostics. The website may link to third-party sites. Those services have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their content, acts or availability.
13. Updates and changes
We may update LifeDates to add, change or remove features, fix bugs, improve security or performance, or meet legal and platform requirements. You may need a current app or iOS version to continue using some features.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate and the date above will change. If a change requires fresh consent, we will ask for it. Otherwise, continued use after the revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Availability and support
We aim to keep LifeDates useful and reliable but do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device or version, or that every notification, widget or third-party service will always operate. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service for security, legal, platform or operational reasons.
Contact us for reasonable support. We do not guarantee a particular response time unless law requires one.
15. Disclaimers
LifeDates is supplied with reasonable care and skill as required by applicable law. Beyond rights and warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Service is provided "as available" and we do not guarantee that every calculation, reminder, fact, estimate, milestone, widget or share card will be error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.
16. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory statutory consumer rights.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business loss arising from personal use, or for loss caused by information you entered, device or Apple-service failures, your sharing choices, or failure to keep an appropriate backup—except where law says otherwise.
LifeDates is for domestic and private use. If you use it for commercial purposes, subject to liabilities that cannot be excluded, we are not responsible for loss of profit, business, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings, or for indirect or consequential loss.
17. Ending your use
You may stop using LifeDates at any time. Delete local profiles or the app as appropriate and separately cancel any active subscription through your Apple account.
We may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary because of a material breach, fraud, abuse, security risk, legal requirement, platform decision or discontinuation. Where practicable and appropriate, we will provide notice.
18. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Read it alongside these terms.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live elsewhere as a consumer, you retain mandatory protections and court rights available under the law of your home country.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. This does not prevent you from using a court, regulator, alternative dispute process or consumer service available to you.
20. General
If a provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remainder continues. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation, financing or sale, provided this does not reduce your mandatory rights.
These terms, the Privacy Policy, the offer shown at purchase and applicable Apple terms form the agreement concerning your use of LifeDates. They do not create rights for anyone other than you, us and Apple or its subsidiaries where expressly identified as third-party beneficiaries.
