Age and milestone calculations

For explanations of exact age, days lived, birthday countdowns, pet-age estimates and edge cases, read our calculation methodology. The free web calculators are useful for checking a result without saving a profile.

Birthday reminders

Open a saved profile, check the date of birth, then review its reminder settings. iPhone notification permission must also be enabled for LifeDates in Settings. If a reminder is missing after a date change, turn that reminder off and on again so the schedule is refreshed.

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets

Add a LifeDates widget from the iPhone widget gallery, then edit the widget to choose the person, pet or date you want. If a widget looks stale, open LifeDates once and check that the selected profile still exists.

Premium and purchases

Open LifeDates and use Restore Purchases if a paid feature is missing on the Apple ID that bought it. Apple manages billing and refunds. You can review subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Privacy and data

LifeDates does not require an account. Saved people, pets and important dates are stored locally on the device. Read the full privacy policy and terms of use.

Email support@insanerabbit.com with the app version, iPhone model, iOS version and a short description of what happened. Please do not include private dates of birth unless they are essential to reproduce the issue.
